Yes. The brief happens by video call, the treatment and the plan are approved in writing, and your team reviews every version online. If you do want to come to the shoot, you are welcome on set.
Yes. We can be the local partner of an agency or a brand from abroad: locations, permits, local crew, equipment and the logistics of the shoot days. Tell us what you need and we write a production proposal.
The whole country. We have filmed in Porto, Lisbon, Montijo, Setúbal, Arrábida, Sesimbra and the Algarve, and where a location needs a permit, we ask for it before the shoot.
Yes. The proposal and the contract can be in English, and for businesses elsewhere in the EU the invoice follows the intra-EU VAT rules.
Portugal puts very different places within a short drive of each other: historic cities, the Atlantic coast, vineyards and countryside. One team that works in English can film them on one trip. To compare costs, send us the same brief you would send at home and put the two proposals side by side.
Our videos start at €700. The price then depends on the shoot days, the size of the crew, the locations and what you receive at the end. You get a fixed quote before you decide, and it does not change halfway.
Most projects take 2 to 4 weeks from the brief to delivery, with 1 or 2 days of filming. Brand films and documentaries can take up to 8 weeks. The calendar is written into the proposal.
No. It is enough to know what you want the film to achieve. The script and the creative direction are our work, and they are part of every project.
We bring our own cameras, lenses, lighting and sound to every shoot, and our own drone, with the licence to fly it. When a project needs more, we rent it in Portugal and it is listed in the proposal.
The main film in 16:9 and, from the same shoot, the vertical and square versions for social media, each edited from scratch for its format. Subtitled or language versions are agreed in the proposal.
Two to three rounds, set out in the proposal. You review each version in the Beyond Portal, commenting on the exact second and approving with one click, and the project only closes when you approve it.
They are written into the proposal before anything is signed. We invoice in euros, by bank transfer.
Yes. We work in Portuguese and English, and we deliver a subtitled version in each language you need. If the film needs voice-over in other languages, we plan it at the script stage and it goes into the proposal.
We plan for it. When a shoot depends on the outdoors, the plan includes an indoor alternative or a date to move to, agreed in the proposal, so nobody finds out about the backup on the morning of the shoot.
The usage rights are written into the proposal, for the channels and the period you need. The music is either original or licensed for that use.
Yes. Corporate, product and editorial photography, on location or in a studio, often on the same days as the film. At Hotel Casa Palmela, the film and the photographs came from the same day.
Yes. Recurring work, such as monthly social media content or a calendar of events, gets its own proposal, with the same team and the same look from one piece to the next.
